During July 9-13, a delegation headed by Mr. Li Bin, Vice President of Sinochem Group and composed by personnel from Sinochem Group’s Energy Business and its subsidiaries, attended the 22ndWorld Petroleum Congress (WPC) held in Istanbul, Turkey. 

During the conference, Mr. Li Bin met with Mr. Fatih Dönmez, Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Turkey; Mr. Zhou Jiping, Vice Chair of World Petroleum Council; Mr. Chen Bi, Deputy General Manager of China National Offshore Oil Corporation. He also held positive communications with international petrochemical enterprises (TOTAL, BP, ExxonMobil, etc) and government representatives of some oil producing countries on change of business development strategy and resource country policies. The delegation primarily introduced the basic situation and future development ideas of Sinochem Quanhui Petrochemical Industrial Park to industry business partners, hoping that all parties play advantage of its own, benefit each other for a win-win result and advance together for quality projects to be landed in the park.

To best connect the WPC’s theme of “Bridges to our Energy Future”, Sinochem Group’s exhibition booth presented a comprehensive introduction to the Sinochem Group’s advantage: whole industry chain featured energy business. Emphasis was placed on display of the Group’s development of business operation and project investment of the Belt and Road countries. Special efforts were diverted to promotion of Sinochem Quanhui Petrochemical Industrial Park. The stylish multi high-tech, multi-media featured booth attracted numerous government officials, business partners and exhibitors. 

WPC is the only professional trade show on professional technology and equipment in the world. This session saw over 50 government ministers, 500 company CEOs and 3,000+ registered representatives from more than 90 countries and regions.
