On October 21, Mr. Jiang Zhenghong, Deputy General Manager of Sinochem Group and President of Sinochem Energy attended the Third High-level Meeting of the OPEC-China Energy Dialogue in Vienna, Austria.
During the meeting, Mr. Jiang Zhenghong and other participants held in-depth discussions and exchanges on short-, medium- and long-term development of global oil market, OPEC + cooperation mechanism, development of China’s oil and gas industry and energy transformation, how OPEC maintain long-term stable development of oil market, the development of Shanghai Futures Exchange, etc.
At the meeting, Mr. Wang Nengquan, Chief Researcher of Sinochem Economics & Technology Research Center, gave a keynote speech on “China’s Energy Transformation”.
The meeting was co-chaired by Mr. Zhang Jianhua, Head of the National Energy Administration and Mr. Mohammad Sanusi Barkindo, OPEC Secretary General. Over 70 people attended the meeting, including Mr. Wang Qun, Ambassador of the Chinese Delegation to Vienna, and representatives of relevant institutions and enterprises from China, OPEC and its member states. A consensus on further strengthening exchanges and cooperation was reached at the meeting.
