It was a recognition of the company's commitment to the implementation of the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact and leading engagement in the pursuit of sustainable development goals.
The UN Global Compact is the greatest company sustainability initiative in the world, which Pirelli joined in 2004. It is a testament to Pirelli's conviction that effective solutions to sustainable development require a holistic approach to development combining economic, social and environmental capital, and is based on the joint efforts of global companies and stakeholders.
