The second Sinochem International Summer Camp concluded on August 2 in Beijing. Participants from 20 countries and regions wrapped up their 12-day summer camp journey with impressive performances at the closing ceremony. Chen Dechun, Director of Sinochem Holdings, attended the closing ceremony and delivered a speech. Representatives from the headquarters and subsidiaries of Sinochem Holdings, along with parents of the summer camp participants, were also present at the closing ceremony. Together, they witnessed the growth, achievements, and newfound friendships the young participants had cultivated.

Chen expressed congratulations on the successful hosting of the summer camp and commended the young members of the summer camp for their enthusiastic participation and enriching experiences. She pointed out that this year's summer camp was culturally diverse and placed greater emphasis on innovation. It effectively broadened the young participants' global perspectives and improved their cross-cultural communication skills. The summer camp was a vivid demonstration of the unity among members of the big family of Sinochem Holdings, effectively fostering mutual understanding and communication among the company's domestic and overseas branches and employees, Chen said.

In recent years, Sinochem Holdings' domestic and overseas subsidiaries have deepened cooperation, carried out more frequent cultural exchanges, and created abundant development opportunities, according to Chen. Looking ahead, Sinochem Holdings will make greater efforts to improve international business operations and foster cross-cultural integration. It will establish more communication platforms to unite efforts in becoming a world-class comprehensive chemical enterprise, Chen noted.

The summer camp offered courses on various subjects, including technological innovation, sustainable development, artificial intelligence, "China in my eyes," traditional Chinese culture, and technologies and products of Sinochem Holdings. It inspired the young participants to unleash their creativity and independently showcase their newfound knowledge. During the closing ceremony, the participants put on performances that showcased their cultural backgrounds, including singing, dancing, playing musical instruments, and acting in sitcoms. Moreover, the team leaders of overseas camp members and volunteers also displayed their talents. These performances created a lively atmosphere, showcasing the energy of youth and enhancing the unique appeal of cultural integration.
