Syngenta Group announced on Aug. 15 that its Mainspring® Xtra insecticide is now available for use in the U.S. market. The product is powered by two insect-killing mechanisms, cyantraniliprole and thiamethoxam, offering a quicker and more effective way to combat a range of persistent pests like thrips, aphids, caterpillars, whiteflies, and leaf miners.

The insecticide is now available for use in greenhouses, nurseries, ornamental landscapes and other fields. The product can also be applied to control pest problems in the field of edible crops, providing comprehensive solutions for the entire ecosystem.

Mainspring®Xtra offers various application methods, including spraying, root immersion, cold fogging, and chemical irrigation. It allows growers to choose the most suitable method based on the specific characteristics of their crops and environmental conditions. Additionally, the product utilizes a dosage reduction technology, which not only helps users save on pesticide costs but also significantly minimizes its impact on the environment, supporting sustainable agricultural practices.
