From April 24 to 27, Sinochem Plastics, Sinochem Qingdao and Sinochem Oil Marketing (a subsidiary under SBU of Energy) organized a joint delegation to participate in the 32nd China International Exhibition on Plastics and Rubber Industries (Chinaplas) in Shanghai to showcase the comprehensive strength of the company's product lines, shipping capacity and service guarantees. The show ended up with good results.

From April 24th to 27th, 2018, Sinochem Group organized a joint delegation to participate in the 32nd China International Exhibition on Plastics and Rubber Industries (Chinaplas). During the event, Sinochem Plastics, Sinochem Qingdao and Sinochem Oil Marketing showcased the comprehensive strength of product lines, shipping capacity and services. Their display is well applauded.

The Sinochem exhibition area mainly displayed physical materials such as plastic particle raw materials and automotive finished materials as well as “1chemic.com”, the B2B e-commerce platform. During the exhibition, Sinochem staff and customers communicated, in an in-depth manner, on topics such as product prices, service scope, new technologies and applications of raw materials. A total of more than 3,000 communication materials were distributed to more than 8,000 visitors from over 20 countries and regions attracted to the event. In-depth discussions were observed with more than 100 customer groups.

Chinaplas, as Asia’s No. 1 and world’s No. 2 plastics and rubber trade fair, is a positive promoter to China's rubber and plastics industries. The exhibition this year focused on three directions: "Intelligent Manufacturing, High-tech Materials and Environmental Protection Technology." Exhibitors showcased their achievements in lightweight, electric, and intelligent vehicles.

With the same small-sized automotive parts and components, plastic products can generally reduce 30-40% mass than steel, presenting considerable advantages in lightweight. With the acceleration of lighter vehicles, plastic auto parts industry promises a bright future. In addition, plastic materials pose advantages in large design space, low manufacturing cost and a wide range of functions. Currently, Sinochem Plastics has formed a marketing business structure that features engineering plastics, automotive lightweight materials and supported by fine chemical engineering and mineral resources industry. The purposely designed structure is meant to provide customers with innovative, quality and green products, services as well as integrated solutions in the lightweight automotive sector.
