Syngenta Group announced on May 23 that it will continue to deepen its long-term cooperation with The Nature Conservancy to collectively safeguard the natural environment. The two sides started to cooperate in 2009, and expanded the scope of cooperation to encompass global issues, jointly tackling environmental challenges such as deforestation and land degradation.

In Brazil, Syngenta Group is committed to restoring one million hectares of degraded land, with a significant portion located in the Cerrado, through collaboration with The Nature Conservancy.

In China, Syngenta Group, together with partners including The Nature Conservancy, initiated the Straw Returning and Soil Health Promotion Project, successfully restoring 2,400 hectares of agricultural land in wheat-producing areas of the North China Plain. This project has effectively enhanced local agricultural production and improved the ecological environment.

Syngenta Group and The Nature Conservancy will launch two projects in the U.S. working to unlock diverse crop rotations with regenerative sorghum production and implement regenerative agriculture in seeds producers.
